Elaine Herdman Barker

Elaine co-founded GLA and now contributes as a Fellow. She continues to work with a small number of clients, while her attention turns increasingly to the wider field of adult development, to writing, and to the boundaries we unwittingly set ourselves as we move through life. Through her Leading for Good podcast, she speaks with strategic thinkers around the world about how they are stretching the idea of a good footprint. Together they ask whether leaders can tip the world towards the common good while running profitable organisations and sound institutions.

With Bill Torbert she co-created the Global Leadership Profile and MyWorldview, to encourage reflection, mutual understanding and self-discovery through the developmental story. She still, on occasion, facilitates training programmes to share this work with others.
