Russ Taylor PCC

Russ is a respected professional coach, facilitator and consultant, with leadership experience in a wide range of organizations. While his coaching work addresses immediate client goals, he is also focused on transformation and ‘vertical development’ – increasing leaders’ capacities to manage complexity, change and conflict in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) world, and on developing agility and resilience in their teams and reports.

With over 30 years in professional services, consulting, and major Pacific Northwest nonprofits, Russ has served as a coach, trusted advisor and consultant to senior executives, community and academic leaders. In his early career, Russ held director positions in nonprofit human services and arts organizations, then progressing to consultant and management positions with Drake Beam Morin, an international human resources consulting firm. In 2004, he founded Windmark Partners, providing coaching and consulting services to health care, government, technology and professional services industry sectors. Most recently, while maintaining his Windmark practice, Russ was a leadership coach with Boeing Commercial Airplanes in the 777 manufacturing and 777X airplane development programs, and was a member of Boeing’s enterprise-wide Coaching Community of Excellence. Russ’s industry experience includes aerospace, health care, academia, professional and financial services, technology, NGOs and nonprofits. As national lead consultant, he managed and delivered the executive transition coaching services for one of the largest aerospace mergers in history.

Russ has coached senior executives, managers, and professionals, addressing goals and challenges that are significant and meaningful for them and their organizations. Building on the foundation of a trusting and confidential relationship, Russ helps clients achieve results though use of assessments and appropriate measures of support and challenge. A number of his clients have been promoted to new leadership positions within their organizations.
