Bob Elliott
Bob has over two decades of consulting and coaching experience working with organizations and individuals. His approaches are designed to help individuals discover and live out their full leadership potential, resulting in a broader range of leadership competencies. He helps clients close the gap between where they want to be and where they currently are, equipping them to tackle the current opportunities and challenges they face. The people Bob works with become more well-rounded, balanced, and agile leaders. Clients credit Bob for his ability to break down complex issues into approachable and eye-opening insights and his attention to action-centric results. Bob supports clients in answering their most basic question: “How do I get better at leading?” in a way that is both personally fulfilling and supports the organization’s strategic objectives, purpose, and vision for the future.
Bob is a “Polarity Partners” Certified PACT™ Practitioner and a “Minds At Work” qualified ITC Map Facilitator. Bob is an authorized provider of several assessments that help individuals, teams, and organizations achieve greater effectiveness. These include the Global Leadership Profile, DiSC™ portfolio, Five Behaviors™ portfolio, and CheckPoint 360™, as well as various other construct development assessments. Bob spent the first half of his career “in the trenches” in roles leading up to GM/COO with P&L responsibilities. Additionally, Bob spent 23 years in the military as a Chief Warrant Officer and branch chief for officer development.
He has worked with non-profits, for-profits, and government agencies. These varied experiences include everything from Fortune 10 public companies to the Veteran Administration, state universities, and small start-ups. Bob has been coaching professionally since 1997. Early in his coaching career, he worked with a large telecommunications organization—coaching project leaders, managers, and project teams that were tasked with the challenging assignment of beating foreign competition from disrupting the U.S. market—that led them to win the Malcolm Baldridge Award, the United States Government’s national quality award.
Bob’s coaching practice is based on proprietary technology and coaching essentials from “Coaching U,” the predecessor to the ICF. Bob’s passion is helping others expand their worldviews and frames of reference, allowing them to lead the way in constructively intervening in “ business as usual” when it is no longer a viable strategy. He goes beyond developing new skills—he helps leaders build the capacities for becoming adaptive leaders, which is critical for anyone navigating successfully through increasingly complex challenges and opportunities. Clients Bob works with become visionary leaders—leaders who transform the current reality into a realizable, sustainable, and regenerative future.
Bob can be found at his winery in coastal New Hampshire, working in the vineyard or pouring wine in the tasting room when not coaching and consulting.
