Richard Izard
Richard specializes in helping leaders, teams and organizations make lasting change in how they think and behave. He has the rare ability to fuse together the latest leadership thinking with very grounded, commercially orientated practice which is based on his fifteen years of board level leadership experience in multinational companies. Richard draws on this experience to act as a catalyst for change, teasing clarity and simplicity out of complexity.
Knowing intimately the complexity and overwhelm that leaders face, Richard helps leaders see new possibilities and organizations to flourish. Believing passionately that leadership is an activity that can happen at any level of an organization, he looks to stimulate the leadership energy wherever it is found.
A disruptor of traditional thinking around organizational change, Richard has recently created a series of Vertical Culture Cards to help view organizational stage of development through an adult development lens.
Richard has a heart for serving the poor and has held numerous voluntary positions in the humanitarian relief and development sector, including as Board Chair of World Vision UK.
Based on his own family experience Richard is currently passionate about working out why girls with autism are on average diagnosed six years later than boys and why the education system seems so poorly set up to support autistic girls.
